Location

Our Lady of the Way School is situated in a bushland setting. A rainforest habitat is part of the parish property.

The school is situated on the site of the former homestead of Tom Petrie, who was the son of Andrew Petrie, for whom the suburb is named. On the school site are a number of significant trees, including a large Java Fig (our school emblem) and several Bunya trees which were originally planted by the Petrie Family.

The school is serviced by Queensland Rail and is within easy walking distance from Petrie Station. Students access Our Lady of the Way by means of a pedestrian crossing on Anzac Avenue.

Kangaroo Bus Lines and Hornibrook Bus Lines provide bus services.
